The State Historical-Site Museum of History and Culture «Moscow Kremlin»
Moscow Kremlin is the heart of Russia, symbol of the state power of a great country, residence of the President of Russian Federation. Besides, it is also a unique historical and architectural compound of fortress walls and towers, majestic cathedrals and tsars palaces of XIVXIX centuries. It houses one of the most famous museums of the world, The State Historical-Site Museum of History and Culture «Moscow Kremlin». It comprises the Assumption, Archangels and Annunciation Cathedrals, Deposition of the Robe Church, Armory Chamber, Patriarchs Palace with the Church of All Apostles, ensemble of the Ivan the Great Bell Tower, foundry art collection, including the Tsar Bell and Tsar Cannon.
Armory Chamber is the oldest Russian museum, treasure-house of the world importance. It holds the art treasures of the nine centuries period. Its collections reflect the crucial stages of the Russian state development, history of the world culture. Pieces of ornamental and applied arts of IVXX centuries created by outstanding Russian and foreign artists constitute the basis of the collection. It displays Russian, West-euripean and Oriental arms, art pieces made of silver and porcelain, costumes and precious fabrics, state regalia and ceremonial carriages.

Museum Hours: Daily 10.00 AM 5.00 PM (ticket office till 4.30 PM), except Thursday. Guided tours of the Armory Chamber at: 10.00 AM, 12.00 AM, 2.30 PM, 4.30 PM daily, except on Thursday. Transport: Metro Stations «Biblioteka im. Lenina», «Aleksandrovsky Sad», «Borovitskaya», «Arbatskaya».
